  • Habitat: This plant grows best in sandy, well-drained soil, with some organic matter. It is fairly drought-tolerant and grows well in full sun or outdoor shade, but needs bright light when grown indoors.

  • Special notes: One interesting fact about this plant is that you can identify the sex by looking in the center of the rosette. Male plants have a cone-shaped reproductive structure, while female plants have globe-shaped yellow structure. In addition, this plant grows very slowly and it's very expensive.
